Summary:

Assists the Beverage Manager to provide high quality servicing of all beverage service including but not limited to any and all Basin Harbor bars, and banquet and function needs.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The Assistant Beverage Manager is very customer service focused, detail oriented, and excels at maintaining and raising standards.

  • Fulfills orders daily for each Basin Harbor bar.
  • Ensures that the beverage staff provide timely, accurate and high quality service to exceed guest satisfaction.
  • Assists Beverage Manager with pulling requisitions for banquets and returning unsold inventory to storage.
  • Receives end of event bar receipts, and calculates tallies Keeps Basin Harbor beverage storage facility clean and organized
  • Assists with beverage delivery and/or pick up, storage, and inventory.
  • Works as Wine Captain in Dining Room and at North Dock during dinner service
  • Assists Beverage Manager with Basin Harbor's Cocktail and Wine-by-the Glass / Canned Wine beverage programs to elevate sales resort wide.
  • Performs other work as directed by Beverage Manager.

Essential Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Experience in a leadership role in an upscale F&B environment. Experience must provide evidence that the candidate has a good understanding of
    • fine dining restaurant operations
    • the ability to lead people
    • the ability to analyze problems and recommend solutions
    • the ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing
    • the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Good prioritization, has good time management skills, strong leadership skills, and effective communication skills.
  • Healthy relationship with alcohol.
Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to use, or learn to use, a golf cart, property vehicles and any other beverage/catering related equipment.
