Summary:

Basin Harbor owns 3 MasterCraft NXT-22 ski/surf boats as well as other powered and non-powered watercraft.  The Boat Driver will be required to operate and care for all of these boats.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Operate and maintain Basin Harbor’s fleet of waterski, tubing, wakeboard and wakesurfing boats
• Assist other members of the waterfront team as needed
• Perform any other functions as deemed necessary by the Harbormaster
• Maintain a clean, orderly and organized work space
• Wear the waterfront uniform as directed by the Harbormaster

Essential Qualifications and Competencies:

• Experience operating powered watercraft is required
• Experience caring for powered watercraft is required
• Experience in watersports such as waterskiing, tubing, wakeboarding and wakesurfing is required
• Maturity and sound judgment
• Ability to apply common sense, understanding and to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Critical evaluation skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Must be able to adapt to changes in a fast paced, dynamic, and sometimes intense work environment
• Have the stamina to work up to 10+ hours outside: sitting, standing and walking.
• Must be willing and able to pass a background check.
