Basin Harbor seeks a self-starter and strong collaborator with high energy and drive to meet the needs of a demanding hospitality environment.  This position is ideal for a person looking to take technology theory into practice. This would be an ideal paid internship opportunity.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Technical Troubleshooting & Support for Core Application Software.
  • Experience with a variety of network and systems protocols, transmission methods and network/systems technologies.
  • Experience utilizing network sniffer and traffic analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting application, server, desktop, and/or network problems.
  • Systems supported include: Dell and HP servers, VMware, Citrix XenApp, HP Switches, Office 365, > 300 acres of wireless coverage, Mitel PBX

Essential Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related area or work toward that goal
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Strong orientation toward excellent customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with system integrators, external solution providers and resort guests.
  • Systems knowledge and experience in: Dell / HP servers, HP Switches, MS Server 2008/2012/2016, Ruckus access point
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner by gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing information;
  • Must possess high level interpersonal skills and be an energetic and collaborative team player with a “can do” attitude;
  • Must be able to adapt to changes in a fast paced, dynamic, and sometimes intense work environment;
  • Must be willing and able to pass a background check.
