Summary:

On-Call Event Servers at Basin Harbor supplement the serving staff on an as needed basis for primarily evening and weekend events, often until late hours. Applicants should be available for a minimum of 10 shifts and commit to availability in advance. This position is available to local applicants only - housing is not available for on-call staff.  We cannot consider H2b applicants for this ON CALL position.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Works with maximum efficiency/productivity
• Assists in setting up the event space, takes and places customers’ orders, carries trays, serves food and beverages, and cleans and clears tables
• Sets up for events by putting out tablecloths and place settings, arranging table placement and setting up a buffet.
• Keeps glasses filled; removes each round of plates and replenishes utensils
• Performs cleaning tasks and breakdown of service
• Anticipates guests’ needs and special requests

• Must be able to lift 20 lbs repeatedly and to work under pressure
